So, cooking my Totino's party pizza in the toaster over at 450 on the “Toast Pizza” setting for 16ish minutes went well. Totino’s isn’t exactly the best frozen pizza, but it’s square and the right portion size for lunch.
I'm listening to this and some radio chatter came up and I had to pause it because it sounded like the radio that comes through my office window from the bar on the other side of the wall from my apartment complex.
So, I bought the Knightfall (Look, my mom got really, really, into The Bee Gees the last few years of her life, I come from people go all into nostalgia, it’s my cultural heritage) book adaptation and it was just delivered. While flipping though, I notice something fun in the disclaimer.

Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow is chasing the glory days of Superboy but also giving him an all new direction. No Dubbilex, Rex, Roxy, or Tana Moon, but lots of space adventures. This makes a smidgen more like Superboy and the Ravers than the 90s Superboy series, but it's fun.
One thing that's cool about Kindle is that the desktop Kindle app can show two pages at once. It's nice feeling when you're otherwise sitting in front of your desk staring in front of a giant monitor.
Part of the reason is that all the normies have adopted a funny/Whedonesque way of talking that activates whatever part of the brain makes people go “hell yeah!” Like, ok. You have no control over the Nobel Prize Committee. What are you going to do with the tools you have?
Might move on to Young Justice. One of my favorite teams, up there with New Warriors, by one of my favorite writers: Peter David. I like teen superheroes because the combination of inexperience and irreverence is extremely funny. It leaves room for mistakes w/o the protagonists being bad people.

As a pallet cleanser, I decided to read this little mini staring two of my favorite teen heroes. It was s glossy, square bound prestige two issue mini with no ads. Chuck Dixon and Karl Kesel are strong character writers and they make a good pairing for this.
I love Batman just straight up saying it’ll make him feel better. This is the most emotionally healthy he’s ever been. Just raw honesty. (Also, they're standing on the spot where the Waynes were murdered, fyi.)
He's not pumping venom anymore, but he's still wearing that luchadore mask! I cannot tell you how much I need this man to go into wrestling.
In real life, these things would be serious and life threatening emergencies. But in the action/adventure/superhero genres, they’re things you can easily and fully recover from.
Lt. Kitch is a very minor character in this run of Batman I've been reading, but I like that he's a by the book cop and gets about the same results as Bullock’s bullshit. He provides a nice contrast to this version of Bullock.
I'm so here for this subplot where Bruce Wayne really and truly knows nothing about how do laundry. In Prodigal, Dick and Tim cleaned up the manner and made fun of Bruce the whole time.
This is the best. The use of the mechanical t-rex and the giant joker card in the foreground and background make it so much better than it has any right to be. Also, I love Tim's sass. Never change Tim.
