No words needed, but I want to say Bernie wrapped in a blanket would fit well in the photo.

Lovely to see you. We also went to the place where Sophie Scholl through the seditious flyers into the atrium, resulting in the capture of her and her brother, prior to their sham trial, convictions and execution by guillotine. She is the greatest hero I will ever have.
You'd have to be either very desperate or very stupid to come here. I can well imagine the Canadian numbers are at least as catastrophic. How much worse will it be if this comes to pass?
We stood where Sophie stood when she dropped leaflets into the atrium, where she was seen and ultimately apprehended by a janitor. Jakob Schmid was sentenced to five years in a labor camp after the war. Of course, that's nothing compared to the price the Scholls paid. And fuck him.
You do such a brilliant job with these, Julie. I thought you might like to see them all gathered in a picture.
I am traveling in Germany with my sister. In the town where I went to school so many years ago, we met up with a German friend of mine from those years. Manfred is between us in this picture.
@george-lakoff.com posted the following on FB, focusing on some excellent framing from @bishopbarber.bsky.social. Bishop Barber is a genius, I think. I wish this perspective was more appreciated in the South. What do you think, fellow Southern peeps?
I did post, did you see? Here is another picture. I took it because it showed local tv coverage. Technically a local FOX affiliate covered at least one earlier event.
May Day Demonstration in Greenville SC. Perhaps a thousand, but great enthusiasm!
to change. The mood in the group was great, wonderful enthusiasm, terrific camaraderie. Pretty good speakers. Here are several shots of crowd.
Though @steveinskeep.bsky.social is active on bsky, I am not finding this here to repost:
Great sign. My favorite from Hands Off Asheville said, simply, 8647. I know that's a meme but that was my first encounter with it. Here is another favorite sign from the day.
Someone posted something remarkable. Replies are blocked, quote reposts are blocked, so, the only way is to copy it and post it freestanding. Apologies for circumventing your intentions there, @sunlit4950.bsky.social, but it's too good to not share, and it deserves comment and expressed respect.
This seems an easy choice. Why it isn't is less apparent. Are they providing a rationalization for this? Those trucks should not belong anywhere. They are a terrible danger for children in particular, since they cannot be seen over the hoods of the massive vehicles.
This fine meme has been posted with comments and quote reposts disabled. That is a choice, and posters who do that are entitled to do it, whatever their reasoning. I believe in the dialogue, I believe in the networking, I believe in the engagement. So, here it is, posted without restrictions.
You are a fighter and a warrior. We appreciate you. If I were to live long enough, I would love nothing more than to vote for this one for president. (Apologies for not noting who posted it on bsky for a hat tip. Very possibly it was @drharmony.bsky.social)
To my mind, there is no argument against them. There is never a thought to putting on the helmet for a ride. Reflex. You know! I still have the helmet that saved my life in the 2012 crash. It is retired, of course, but ... it deserves respect. There are times I can show it to others.
en route to a scene, or the presidential motorcade transporting the president. Even that may (and should probably not be) a superior right. But not in any other case. (@julibriskman.bsky.social flipped off the Trump motorcade. She is and will always be a hero.)
I don't remember who originally posted this, but it is one of the first things I think of when it comes to fierce. Perhaps this young firebrand will be president one day.
