Man, things really *are* dire at Xbox, they're using their IPs anywhere they can. XD
My Favourite Game of 2026 (so far), and my Favourite Previous-Year Game that I first played in 2026 (so far)
Unrelated, but just a few days ago was the 20th anniversary of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest", which to this day has some of the best use of CGI in a Hollywood blockbuster.
Remember when Tekken X Street Fighter was gonna be a thing? Not to be mistaken with Street Fighter X Tekken, which did happen.
I know it's been a fair bit since I posted the Calico Wilder gameplay sneak peek, and it may still be a bit before we have a full trailer. But I can confirm, we've been making great progress since then, and I'm excited for when we're ready to show more. ^^ #CalicoWilder #indiegame #gamedev
Made some more custom characters in Soul Calibur VI today. This time, I tried my best to get Calico and Lilly into the game!
I felt inspired and made a few more characters to go with this cast of misfits! We have one more party member: - Percival, a dragon mechanist and the team support And we have some antagonists! - Viron, a corrupt general - and Malbern, the stoic but monstrous Big Bad
Said stylish musical turn-based RPG is also on sale on Steam right now, wink wink.
Like yes, I *could* pay $110 ($125 post-tax) for the new GTA game, OR I could pay nearly a quarter of that for a stylish musical turn-based RPG.
Like, I've still never played Breath of the Wild, and there's a part of me that's curious to see if it'd be my thing. But curious enough to pay nearly $100 after taxes? Not really. And that stinks.
I decided to give these characters some mockup designs via Soul Calibur VI, so here they are! We have my OC Maribelle (who now has a sword), but we now also have: - Velwyn, an elf monk (also known as "the master of the Elfist") - and "Ace", a suave scoundrel who wields casino-themed weaponry
Me intentionally keeping the history of the ancient civilization in my story vague (it hasn't been fully written and isn't the main focus):
Every so often I'm reminded of the fact that the original Legend of Zelda at one point was gonna be a fantasy / sci-fi mix about time jumping between the past and future, and I can't help but wonder where the series would be nowadays if they stuck with that concept.
Okay that's not at *all* what I was expecting Ghost Rider's Tokon team to be, but that is a *sick* set of final characters!
