After a long but unsuccessful (yet still fun!) day of fishing I am more than ready for good food, music, drinks and conversations.
All settled in for the 2 weeks at the lake. Cocktail hour now waiting for the sunset this evening … which at this latitude won’t be until close to 10:30 pm this time of year. Decided we are going Italian tonight. Aperol Spritz with Blood Orange.
Had quite a bit of these sun snow showers this past ski season. Packed away all my gear today until next year. Hopefully the snow is more normal next year … already booked the condo again! Hope springs eternal in this skiers heart! 😎 ❄️

This year’s ski season is now officially a wrap. Skis and winter gear all put away. Spring has sprung. Was a great winter ski odyssey this year!
Maybe these GOP senators should be less worried about DEI and take some remedial educational classes in reading, writing and especially spelling.
The ol’ girl is all set for this winter’s adventures. Turned over 300K miles this fall. Many more adventures still to go. As the song goes, “We've been through some things together With trunks of memories still to come We found things to do in stormy weather Long may you run”
I really do love the afternoon light and quiet in early November as the high country awaits winter. No crowds and empty spaces.
