Saw the new Evil Dead with my brother last night in Gainesville. It’s maybe my least favorite in the series so far, but it’s the first one I got to see in theatres and I still had a good time.

Thanks to my friend Mark for getting this footage of me from Big E’s Memorial concert last night- Eric was a musical inspiration to many and there were about 200 people jammed into Social Club to say their goodbyes. A lot of sadness but even more love…❤️

That’s so cool. I was impressed that the airport bookstore in Venice, Italy had a huge new (and used!) comic book section. You love to see it!
There is also a Mount Rushmore-style monument to Batman in the manga version of Gotham City.

Finished! By the end of Book Two, I was so invested in the everyday space adventures of Halo Jones that I was actually a bit disappointed when the finale pivoted to more standard 2000AD FUTURE WAR! fare, but some of the stories in Book Three were so good that I came around.
Finished mowing and have another hour before I have to get ready for tonight’s gig. Enjoying some AC and an issue of Mister Miracle before I venture back out into the downright oppressive Savannah summer heat 🥵
This is definitely an early 90’s Vertigo comic written by Millar and Morrison and can be a little…much at times, but there are actually some pretty effective horror bits and interesting ideas in Root of All Evil.
Can we talk about how much happier and healthier the leprechaun looked before those goddamn kids started stealing his lucky charms?
Lord Death Man is quickly becoming a favorite of the bat rogues- He’s just such an amoral bastard and I love him for it. ❤️
