Incompréhensible et mystérieuse histoire, décidément. Dès mai 2017, Emmanuel Macron, victime d’ingérences russes dans sa première campagne présidentielle, avait déclaré le premier que Xenia Fedorova, alors à la tête de Russia Today France, dirigeait « un organe de propagande ». Pourtant, malgré l’interdiction de RT, la « journaliste » a obtenu ses papiers, vivant à Paris dans le 7e arrondissement. Selon une enquête du média Desk Russie, elle a d’ailleurs continué à cette époque de figurer dans les effectifs de la maison mère de RT, TV-Novosti, jusqu’au 31 août 2024, soit plus de deux ans et demi après l’interdiction de diffusion de la chaîne en France, et perçu des rémunérations atteignant 24,5 millions de roubles entre juillet 2023 et juillet 2024 (274 000 euros), alors qu’elle négociait son CDI – une rareté – au sein du groupe Bolloré.

La figure de Vincent Bolloré ferait-elle peur au pouvoir ? A moins d’un an de l’élection présidentielle, une expulsion ou une sanction « serait vue comme une attaque contre lui et la liberté d’expression », croit savoir un diplomate européen. « Il est certain que la proximité de Fedorova avec Bolloré, ça pèse. On ne parle pas d’un obscur commandant de l’armée russe », ajoute, de son côté, un proche de l’Elysée. D’autres avancent que les meilleures sanctions sont celles auxquelles on ne s’attend pas. Et que les ministères des affaires étrangères et de l’intérieur travaillent ensemble à entraver Xenia Fedorova d’autres manières, sans passer par l’Europe et afin de ne pas se retrouver désavoués par les tribunaux ou par les faits : quoique restreint dans ses déplacements, le Moscovite Xavier Moreau a, par exemple, profité du vote électronique pour se faire élire conseiller des Français de l’étranger dans la circonscription Russie-Biélorussie lors du scrutin consulaire de mai.

I see Spotify's team org going back with AI agents (more people can submit patches). But I still think freewheeling work, no long-term support, and lack of ownership are sources of problems. Also, why are Guilds that produce code required? Why can't it happen in a classic team? Hierarchy? Process?

Team members who are passionate about a topic can form a Guild, which essentially is a community of interest. Anyone can join a Guild and they are completely voluntary. Whereas Chapters belong to a Tribe, Guilds can cross different Tribes. There is no formal leader of a Guild. Rather, someone raises their hand to be the Guild Coordinator and help bring people together.

There is similar stuff when you want to migrate to a new organisation type keeping the same org name. You need to make if free in a short perdiod of time and it can be stollen. docs.github.com/en/migration...

Not once I encountered people who want to track only a specific number
of parameters and do not have much fun burdening themselves with all the
data set, querying a whole huge stat view to analyse performance profiles.
In another scenario, an extension needs to track a limited number of
parameters - let's say, blocks hit and blocks read. Another dimension -
sometimes we are only interested in queries that involve complex join
trees or partitioned tables and would be happy to avoid tracking all
other queries.
It seems that a callback-based or subscription-based model could be
worth exploring.

But after so long that my PR has been open and the maintainers have been ignoring it, without responding to me or my messages, I'm not willing to take any part in this anymore.
The lack of attention we're getting from the maintainers is very disrespectful, and I'm not willing to waste any more time on this.
