Wild that a publication that is constantly stirring up old Red Scare stuff about the left-wing candidates winning all over would argue that the Democratic Party is not "litigat[ing] what the party actually believes" this cycle.

But a big tent is worth pitching only if something is argued inside it, and that is precisely what this midterm cycle has lacked. Handed the chance to litigate what the party actually believes, Democrats have mostly declined.

A lot of the commentary here may be missing that Serrano set the "passing" number to 40 for the test. I think that's not the main focus of the discussion here but it's notable. S22 passed, for example.

In a follow-up message to students, Serrano announced the midterm was void and the final exam would be worth 80 percent of the students’ final grade. Any student that scored a 40 percent or higher on the final earned a passing grade—previously, he set the passing line at 50 percent or higher. In total, 19 students failed the class.

RBFA STATEMENT UPDATE
Following its previous statement, the RBFA wishes to publicly explain the events of the past few hours.
After learning through media reports of FIFA’s decision to lift the automatic suspension of player Balogun, the RBFA sent a letter to FIFA requesting a copy of the decision, an explanation of the process that had been followed, and setting out its position regarding the applicable regulations.
As its only response, FIFA sent a letter to the RBFA stating that it considered this correspondence to constitute an appeal, that a judge had been appointed, and that the RBFA had only a few hours to complete that appeal. No information whatsoever was provided by FIFA.
For an appeal to be admissible, FIFA’s own regulations state that the reasoned decision must first have been communicated to the appellant. While the RBFA was merely seeking legitimate explanations, FIFA itself created an appeal and immediately ensured that it would be declared inadmissible.
All of this occurred while FIFA simultaneously refused to respond to the RBFA’s legitimate requests.

There … there's actually a very clear, direct, and simple way to answer that question. "No." I think he's thinking of the rhetorical hypothetical of "have you stopped [doing that]?" which is hard to answer clearly with "yes" or "no" but still pretty easy to answer
