Had a great time today with @hellomcdm.bsky.social ‘s Delian Tomb for Draw Steel. Performed surprisingly well at teaching us how to play as we went through encounters. Best of all, our three players were constantly paying attention to the action and strategizing rather than looking at phones #ttrpg
As a Golgari magic player, I LOVE banana slugs. I have a stuffed one from Muir Woods National Park. I may love them anyway, just because they’re bright yellow and turn waste into fertilizer…
Great morning at the last day of #GameholeCon - I got to play @jamesintrocaso.bsky.social ‘s Crows playtest along with fellow @renegadegamestudios.com Anais Morgan and their partner. Fun, fast, and a little taste of Draw Steel’s core mechanics used in a whole new way!
Attending #NoKings was really good for the soul to see so may other folks fed up with the state of America. Very peaceful, energizing, and not paid at all ;) Plus @paigeleitman.bsky.social made an amazing sign!

The Scotland weather I expected (left, today in Glasgow) vs. most of what I got (right, at Talisker a few days ago). Thankful to have enjoyed both, and happy for the cooler weather.

Had a great time today visiting Cawdor Castle, home of Thane MacBeth (at least fictionally - it was built 300ish years after he would have ruled). Also wonderful gardens.
