We're All Trying To Find The Guy Who Did This - meme. www.ft.com/content/7749...
Just asked Gemini about staff numbers at Scottish universities from 2020:
We both live there on the left where the guy sticks his head out. On the right is England.
My Union voted for that crap: www.thenational.scot/news/2355425... Even that it got voted out again a year later my UCU office has still no Ukraine flag in it (I called it out a few times on social media). "Palestine will be free* !" (*not free Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, ...) Full of tankies sadly.
With all the doom and gloom. Here is a clip I filmed / produced for GlasgowLovesEU: Wooferendum! 🐾Brexit! Posted on twitter which was then the go to place for anything political. 🐶🐕🐩🐕🦺🐾
The problem with us "Libs" was that we thought we needed to debunk lies. However, then perfected with BoJo, it was never about the facts but they created a community amongst brexiteers and at the same time kept us "libs" busy debunking them. Welcome to the Brexit club! Have a lie!
After the vote as EU citz we had this constant unease to assess if the person we are speaking to wants us deported or is sympathetic of our situation. We kept our outward appearances but had our private fears and thoughts. So I made a documentary about this: www.imdb.com/title/tt1303...
I remember one of the 1st experiences after the Brexit vote the total lack of compassion of brexiteers. Then when talking to them over the years (with me wrapped in an EU flag in Glasgow's city centre as part of GlasgowLovesEU) I learned more and more about them. In 2020 I made this diagram.
Obv as every user would do burning to complete that survey: save the image and pop it into an online "QR code to URL converter".
It's not what it seems but rather: "...the fact that a batch of previous Brexit voters now say they didn’t vote Brexit shows a rather tarnished reputation for that referendum outcome, even among people who voted for it. That is a rather bigger problem." theweekinpolls.substack.com/p/has-the-co...
Great tortured phrase: "Enormous information"! pubpeer.com/publications... searching for publications analysing CPU performance of GoogLeNet and the PubPeer browser plugin is lighting up like a xmas tree.
Hyperactivity complaint.... And it's not just that but in conjunction of them handing out titles and poster awards like hot-cakes. Need to be a conference chair to put that on your promotion application? No problem. Or how about the vice president of the IEEE optics group in Sheffield south?
As somebody who's at the moment marking like a madmen code on github I missed the tumble dryer idiocy which looks like a bubble and with the Telegraph changing the headline also realising how Brexity themes becoming irrelevant. Interesting times.
I'm glad to hear it's limited to Germany! united24media.com/anti-fake/20...
