Too cloudy for the colander, but the neighbours were sharing around their glasses out on the green and we got some eclipse photos with the sacrificial phone camera.

Spider-man superfan since she was old enough to rob fridges. I used to have to take the suit off her while she was sleeping, wash it, and get it back on her before morning. She'd have worn it tonight if it were possible 🕸️

For International Bog Day, let me share some photos from my favourite place on earth, my family's little bit of Tipperary bogland. It's more meadow than bog at this point (we camped out for a night on the solid part), next time I'll go up the banks.

An old road is just about discernable, with a wire fence bounding its left side. The road is overgrown with grasses and meadow flowers. Silver birch are maturing to the right. In the 80s, this was a working road for turf harvesters and the landscape was black, dusty stripped peat.

A bog stream is completely overgrown with meadow flowers like meadowsweet, ferns, bramble, furze, loosestrife. The skeletons of some dying ash can be seen in the background - a lot of ash trees have been sadly lost to the landscape over the past 10 years.

The landscape stretches to the horizon, meeting forests of commercial spruce. In the foreground a collie is sniffing the grass. There is furze, heather, meadowsweet, cotton grass, bog sally and birch growing in between.

Mad that after all the evil shit he's done, it was daring to imitate the TikTok heel collection girlies that finally got Tate arrested. Fashion police on top of their game.

This week in the Irish Times. Can only post 4 at a time, there are more. White Irish men like Eoin Lenihan simply have legitimate concerns that they might lose their demographic position as Ireland's most prolific murderers/rapists/abusers/defilers.

Aaron Brady, a white Irish man, sexually assaulted a Ryanair worker on a flight and was given a suspended sentence.

Philip Dignam, a white Irish man, was jailed for 7 years for sexually assaulting 8 sleeping women and video recording himself doing so.

Unnamed white Irish man jailed for 14 years for raping and murdering an American tourist in Hungary. He dumped her body in the woods hoping that wild pigs would eat her .

Unnamed white Irish man, a Garda, awaits sentencing for raping his former wife and commuting multiple acts of cruelty against 2 children.

Very proud of this attempt at a card I made for my cousin's wedding tomorrow. Think I captured his bould Cork sneer and the relentless patience of his betrothed. Even managed to get the sweatmarks off it.
