I went to an exhibition on Greco-Roman Egypt today and met these two hotties.
Months ago I registered to table at a convention coming next week without fully registering that it's a three-day show, and only yesterday did they post that the actual vendor hours for each day is 8:00 – 6:00.
Instead of accepting this and moving on like perhaps a reasonable adult, I of course must go back and fix the older art.
Nothin' like comparing the art from chapter 1 of your webcomic to chapter 6 and realizing how much longer you accidentally made one of your character's hair over time.
Hey-hey #PortfolioDay! I'm Bethany, an illustrator, graphic designer, and cartoonist. I love drawing fantastical nature scenes. I'm open for freelance work and would love to work on comic or book covers! ✦ bethanysellers.com/illustration ✦ bethanysellersart@gmail.com
There’s someone on FB Marketplace who keeps trying to sell this Sailor Moon doll for $100, and I wish them all the luck in the world.
How do y'all feel about white dialogue in a black word bubble? I have a character I want to use it for, and want some way to differentiate it from regular dialogue, but wasn't sure if people found this harder to read.
I started reading Jurassic Park, and lemme tell you I looooaathe that the only new edition that’s apparently out there (besides the massive B&N hardcover) is the mass market paperback size, aka my enemy.
I'm gonna be fighting this battle *many* times for the next several pages. #wip
Getting ready to color a page and realizing there's a panel where I completely drew a character's clothes backwards.
A short inking process vid I’ve posted elsewhere as proof of life of my webcomic.
There are now two positions I've applied to where I've immediately gotten a call from their AI "HR assistant" to conduct a screening interview.
I just got out from seeing Obsession (which RULED), and spotted an actual unicorn.
Clip Studio users: for a little while I've had this issue where, when I draw round shapes, I get weird angles. It's not as obvious when I draw slowly, but they're still there. I don't have this issue in Photoshop, and when I restart my computer the problem goes away temporarily, but then comes back.
Also-also, since I was in the area, I HAD to swing by Hooper’s, aka the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre house. (It was originally in Round Rock, but was later moved and converted into a restaurant.)
My dad and aunt camping outside of Austin, so I met with them to go to Longhorn Caverns on a cave tour.
Today is my birthday, so yesterday i went with family to the Titanic: The Human Story exhibition. 😌 I’m also now the proud owner of an ~authentic~ replica mug.
Grant me the strength to resist the urge to redraw a bunch of my old art from a comic I haven't worked on in two years.
I miiight have started working on my webcomic again after a long hiatus. Maybe.
I fell in love with this brand of chocolate when I was in Seattle last year, so discovering that World Market sells it is VERY dangerous for me.
I went in a bit of a rabbit hole on 60s concert poster designs, and have totally forgotten how much I love the style of these.
A detail I appreciate in movies is when the product placement is region-specific. Like, I'm rewatching Miss Congeniality -- which mostly takes place in San Antonio -- and both Shipley Do-Nuts and Mr. Gatti's Pizza make an appearance.
