To celebrate finding some of my work in an actual bookshop, let’s have a poem.
I’m halfway through this. When I have finished I am going to read it again, straight away. If you are a parent, grandparent, teacher, politician or just someone who cares about children you should be reading this too.
16kms hike this morning. We set off early to make sure we weren’t too much in the sun. Called in at beautiful Whitcombe Church which happened to be open. Such a treat.
My friend gave me some sweet peas this morning and they smell so beautiful.
Well it’s gull fledgling time and once again we have two learning the ropes of life on our kitchen roof. Here’s a poem. These critters are annoying but cute.
It was a mere 35C at the Chalke Valley History Festival today - way too hot but we heard 3 great talks.
We went to Brownsea Island. Lovely sunny day, almost as good as the Mediterranean 😁

Canadian son has taken a helicopter ride over the Rockies. No idea why but I am full of envy!!
