Many thanks to the Coalition to Preserve Perry County for yesterday’s meeting. I appreciate the paper detailing the different power projects proposed for our corner of Pennsylvania. The main takeaway? DON'T SELL TO PPL!! See ALT for more information.

If you have property that PPL wants for power line projects, or A.I. companies, to build data centers, don't sell! Preserving your charming small town community is a greater reward.
While power lines & upgrades are needed existing infrastructure, there are ways to do this without destroying people's hearth & homes.

I remember in my late twenties I used to receive one paper a year detailing how much Social Security I would receive when I became of age. Why not?
Because Social Security's retirement trust fund is projected to face a shortfall in 2032, despite the Cost of Living Adjustment next year.

That's right, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, voted for in order to give billionaires massive tax cuts, is in part to blame.
Of course, even with the impending insolvency of Social Security, Joyce and his ultra-wealthy cronies will be just fine.
So you don't have to waste a thought on his future because he's definitely not thinking about yours.
And, in the future, the immigrant-haters can pat themselves on their bony backs, rested in the knowledge that they starved in their sunset years because they didn't rely on contributions of the foreign-born.
OR
PERHAPS, the xenophobes out there could:
dial back their hatred,
recognize that we are all of the human race,
realize that American society integrates many peoples,
and accept the contributions of those who come from far away to reach their piece of the American Dream too,
so that older Americans can live out their last years with a little dignity.

Another disastrous incident leading to unnecessary loss of life ICE agents misidentified a legal immigrant as undocumented, claimed he drove at them, then MURDERED him in cold blood on American streets. This agency's hiring practices are poorer and poorer every day of its existence as it never learned from the MURDERS of American citizens Keith Porter Jr, Renee Good, and Alex Pretti.
Time and again these agents ignore common sense training to NOT shoot at someone driving a 2k pound vehicle.
Meanwhile, our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, releases no statement about this MURDER.
Why not?
Because ultimately, he approves of innocent lives being taken by ICE.
It's why he voted for ICE to be further funded $38 billion last month.
He doesn't care that a father was MURDERED, that a worker was MURDERED, that a husband was MURDERED.
He doesn't care that ICE failed to properly identify their person of interest.
RIP Joan Sebastian Guerrero of Maine.

dear grand[children] are a result of IVF. So I fully understand first hand and very personally that these blessings in our life would never have happened if my [child]’s 15 year old birth mother had chosen abortion.
In spite of all the above, my [spouse] and I as well as my adopted [child] understand the right of a woman to choose what is right for her own body and health. Donald Trump himself was all for choice until it was politically advantageous to change his position. I don’t think for one second that he truly and strongly believes that abortion is a great answer for black women who live in “ shit hole countries”. And I have little doubt of the likelihood that Trump himself has paid for ending the pregnancy of a paramour or 2. It all comes back to the total hypocrisy of the current Rep leadership. At the very least, this is to me, not a one size fits all issue. In places like Texas and elsewhere, it is an undeniable fact that women have died ( I’m not saying by droves) in hospital parking lots over refused medically necessary abortions when the unborn has had zero chance at survival- and if survived at a low level would be just the ones Trump would say “ nobody wants to see that” as he said of our seriously wounded military heroes.
So I pray and ask that you consider where in the broad sense your valuable vote should lie. I understand passionately that you intelligently and sincerely see and understand your position for good and decent cause. Do you feel that more harm is caused to this country including the women affected but the choice issue by supporting Beth as a break and check on the unbelievable pain and damage the Trump administration will cause if congress continues abdicating to his ransacking of our democracy? A vote for Joyce is a vote for silence and active support to continue the destruction. He and Scott Perry are the most pro Trump agenda voters in the PA delegation.

The important thing is that John Joyce fully supports Trump's agenda.

Of course, our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, who has repeatedly preached against undocumented immigrants, maligning them with false claims of voter fraud, does not stand for the 14th Amendment, especially concerning the US born children of those same immigrants. You won't find any quote of his in support of today's decision. He supports Trump's twisted and unAmerican beliefs instead. In other words, his oath is worthless too.
But you can save these oath breakers from themselves by electing me, Beth Farnham, who will absolutely keep my oath instead of torturing John Joyce with another term during which he fails to uphold his oath. And I will hold Trump accountable, not only for his crimes against humanity, but against constitutional law.
Lastly, the Supreme Court made the wrong decision about trans women and girls in female sports. The real threat to women and girls in sports, and everywhere else, has very much been older straight white males like those listed in the EPSTEIN FILES which continue to not be fully released. I swear, that promise will be fulfilled, like when I assume office to represent us.

Medicaid/Medicare fraud exists, but the perpetrators are more often the providers, not beneficiaries. "Federal prosecutors said the beneficiaries and physicians listed on the fraudulent claims had never heard of Oregon Clinical Laboratory and the genetic testing was never provided." More in ALT.

In Pennsylvania, State Attorney General, Dave Sunday, filed charges yesterday against eight people who committed fraud too.
"Armstrong submitted time entries for more than one Medicaid consumer at the same time, and she was paid $70,0332 for services she did not provide, according to investigators.” (https://tinyurl.com/zx2z6p25)
This is because the Medicaid/Medicare money doesn't go to the beneficiaries directly, but to the ambulance companies, pharmacies, hospitals, nurses, doctors, home health agencies, and a whole host of providers.
Yet, our own US Representative, multimillionaire John Joyce, voted to take away healthcare from 17k constituents because he falsely claims they defrauded the system.
Without any proof of wrongdoing, Joyce damned the poorest people of our 13th Congressional District into even poorer health.
Meanwhile, again, because he and others like him signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that ended covid era subsidies for Pennie, the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) of Pennsylvania, over 145k Pennsylvanians whose monthly Pennie premiums leapt up by several hundred dollars per person have dropped their insurance. Instead of helping Everyday Americans, the Trump administration is hell-bent on hurting them.
But it doesn't have to be this way.
You can elect me, Beth Farnham, to fire Trump, Vance, RFK Jr, other civil officials, and Supreme Court Justices so that we don't simply exist, but thrive. I'll work with other caring legislators to create a national healthcare plan so no American goes without coverage.
Why?
