I know there's a lot going on in the world but I feel like I'm literally going to die of not having a big goofy dog anymore. Since 1999 I've never gone longer than three weeks between big goofy dogs. I just have these shitty little dogs.

We were late adopters to the pandemic puppy phenomenon -- we already had an elderly dog and a middle aged dog in 2020; we didn't have space for puppies -- but adopting this tiny monster in the terrible autumn of 2021 was one of the best decisions we've made as a family. Three years today.
