The pink cube marks 25 years with Bloomberg News (as of Jan. 2), and my team surprised me with it (and fancy cupcakes!) while we were waiting for the Fed decision. There have been 200 regular ones in that span, the unforgettable first of which was on my second day!

#TreasuriesToday: Yields sharply lower with US stock index futures. Compressed auction schedule begins with $69b 2Y at 11:30am, $70b 5Y at 1pm. WI 2Y 4.19%, WI 5Y 4.32%, both lower than last month's results. Month-end index extension estimate is 0.07 year & here's some history:
But the bond market has an "early close" Friday. For the purposes of the bond index rebalancing, that means it happens at 1pm, per the Bloomberg bond index protocols described here. 5/7
