I’ve spent the better part of a day dismantling our greenhouse so we can move it over to a different spot, got it all down, dug out three of the four legs with no problem… fourth leg eaten by a hungry tree and no way to prise it away from the other side 😭

A different kind of calligraphy practice! It’s so easy to make spelling mistakes when you’re so focused on the letterforms. I want to make something pretty but not confident enough with the shape of the letters yet to stray from straight lines.

Calligraphy practice on layout paper, it’s a quote from Jayne Eyre:

“Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! - I have as much soul as you, - and full as much heart! For my calligraphy class 💕 I definitely feel like I’m improving, but I do need to practice more 🖋️
