Legacy media needs to go into the bin. “Sharp reversal” and “alleged vandals” The story here is the admin is lying about it all and covering it up and legacy media is right there willing to be a sounding board for the disinformation instead of investigating and reporting on what actually happens
Makes our Van Hecke deal look like a steal. It also seems very strange that 17th finishing Spurs are the market setters in the EPL this transfer season. #coys
This skeet came up in my feed and I had to read it about 6x before I realized it was not a statement about Brennan Johnson being sold and kudus then getting hurt. #coys.
Also the team assuming kudus and udogie are fully back is set up perfectly for his 4-2-3-1. Sarr, Tel, RKM, Gallagher, and Spence all providing key depth and subs when folks run themselves ragged in the press.
Totally disagree. This team needs confidence and experience playing together in high stakes games. Play the best 11 and get a result to boost confidence and morale. And I think we can put 3 past them. It’s not likely but think of the vibe shift if we can do it.
Manger clearly does not believe in Xavi. We have literally no defensive subs. We are sooooo going down. #coys
The “get the defense right first mentality” needs to go. It’s not working. Hasn’t worked all year. Get four attackers on playing in their preferred positions (or as close to it as we can). Play a double pivot and actually try to attack through the middle a little.
This is a good take. The run in really starts now. A win or point Sunday and things might be turning the right side. I hope if Porro is back though he abandons the 3 at the back thing and uses something close to this.
I imagine it is something closer to this. Maybe Tel in that second 10 berth or maybe Sarr in for Biss.
Our injured outfield 10 remains quite good. That front four is pretty 🔥.
This is a fine take but keep in mind this was our missing outfield 10 lineup and does not even consider Spence (English international) and Romero who could only play half the game.
Well I think the final conclusion of this thread is we can all conclude that @george-miller.org hates puppies
Playing for another 0-0 snooze fest with that lineup. Let’s hope it’s more like this.
A friendly reminder this is the team we had to play last Feb and won 2-0. With Scarlett and Sarr being the two attacking subs we had available.
I think we rotate especially at the back. Richy and VdV and Porro all need rest.
December was def better than November but still an underwhelming month. We looked the better team only against Slavia and the bees We looked the lucky team against Newcastle and Palace, maybe. Liverpool almost impossible to judge. That Forrest game though… yikes. YIKES.
Just totally unacceptable. No defensive soundness. No attack. What is the plan then?!
Only five teams remain unbeaten in the UCL: Bayern, Woolwich, Inter, City and… Spurs. Very Spursy.
