Went to the market this morning (which was hopping) then took a long walk with a friend and we met a baby potbellied pig (he’s normally a wheelchair user but he was playing in the grass today)
The view Rick and his horse should have seen since they were riding in from Newnan
My FiL has never worn a shirt for a team other than Alabama until today
It’s a smidge too hot even on a shaded porch but I need to be outside. Also it being this green in south Alabama in July is really wild
When we toured the National Weather Center the guide said these trucks had not been out since last spring because of funding cuts
They still have some of the old post office boxes like when I was in college
He has to have a physical ID for the NWC so we got that and walked around campus some more and got lunch at Campus Corner
We rode around exploring - it’s so odd to be able to see so far! Also lots of cool wind turbines and we rode for a bit on Route 66
The parent orientation was in the art museum so I got to see French Impressionists
