Science and capoeira loving guy. Prounouns: to be honest, I don’t care about mine. But I care about yours, and if you don’t care about other peoples’ dear reader, we’re less likely to get along
Having lost both parents, my dad 2 years ago and my mum 9, it seems normal to me. There’s that stage of enjoying things, and then thinking, actually you shouldn’t be happy. But it passed for both. I’ve found the idea that life grows around grief (though not as uniformly as the image shows)…
It’s true. It could be argued this isn’t news in the same way “When a dog bites a man that is not news, but when a man bites a dog that is news.”, I still think it’s in the public interest to report. Anyway, I’ve joined the Greens. I like what @boldpolitics.bsky.social is doing!
I don’t think Israel see it as a failure. Perhaps they do, as they prefer to kill them quicker? Doubt it, they seem to want the cruelty
Yes, the electorate may do this, but they did also choose 14 years of Tory rule
Take the fictional characters quiz and post the first four you know: openpsychometrics.org Dax 87% match; Sisko and Yates both 85%; Sattler 85% They were 1st, 6th, 7th and 9th on the list. (Nice to see see CJ Cregg and Josiah Bartlett both on 84%)
OK, hear me out. A Lord of the Rings re-make, but with these two taking the One Ring to Mordor:
This won’t work. You won’t be able out do Reform, you’ll make it look like it’s a legitimate issue, and then you will lose voters. Given you’re in power, why not do things like ending austerity, improving public services and stuff like that?
Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers. #7 Darwin’s Dangerous Idea: Evolution and the Meanings of Life by Daniel C Dennett
Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers. #6 The Big Picture: On the origins of life, meaning and the universe itself by Sean Carroll
Oh yeah, this “Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers.” Once a day is bit unrealistic for, but still, book #5 m
When you were out partying, I studied the blade. While you had premarital sex I got rich from my dad’s emeralds. Whilst you wasted your days in the gym I got into conspiracy theories. And now the ad revenue’s on fire you have the audacity to think I can’t debase myself further?
LOLZ! Coming soon to GBeebies: Balde Runner: ULEZ - Fozza Lox investigates whether it’s ok to break the law to keep climate change on track, with his witty rhetorical style with all the transphobia and racism you would expect.
