Apparently yesterday was the 25th anniversary of Gillian Welch's Time (the Revelator) which is absolutely WILD to me...! I remember when this album came out and I spent my senior year of high school listening to it obsessively. What even is time???
Slowly but surely working on getting the new house set up....

It appears that the men are wearing some sort of thong underwear and perhaps a collar with a chain going down the back, attached to the thong. I certainly don't agree with everything liberals stand for these days but I'm actually okay with this.
The owners gave me an award for best Pokémon community member, along with Emi's award for best costume and Alex's for best card. Everyone said such nice things to me and I cried like a baby. There were many hugs.

They all love the porch on the farm so much. How do I break it to them that we're getting kicked out and I have purchased a house in town *just for them*? They're gonna be so mad. :(
Grumbles could be a mouser but the other two are pretty useless. Especially OJ. He wants nothing more than to nap in front of a nice big window. It's sad that their sister Doodle got adopted; she is a supermodel.
OJ is asleep next to me, but with his paw extended so he is touching me.
I hadn't really thought about it before but I think as a kid, part of why I loved Ogre Battle for the SNES so much was because I had the choice to play as a woman and make armies of valkyries, witches, dragons, & pumpkinheads.
To be fair, I had a lot of fun today hanging with friends & familiar faces, as well as meeting new folks. It was just a lot. I did think to get a photo with my bestie Richard at the library because I was wearing glitter & getting a lot of compliments. Richard co-owns the hobby shop with his sister.
It's an alternate version of the band, Kings of the Wild Things. They have a song about Shrek 2, I think...? Oscar is always talking about how Shrek 2 is better than Shrek 1 in his sets.
Very weird; I posted but it got deleted. Anyway, here she is again! I need to take a better photo in the daytime. Also, the remaining old birthstone outfits are $25 so I just ordered 2 more, lol.
I'm not sure it fits the definition of "media" but Jolly was 100% the absolute most terrifying thing in my life between ages 2 and 5; so much so that he is now front and center on my arm with the words NO FEAR above him.
I also noticed this. He does it twice and it sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
David, I regret to inform you that everything is gambling now. Here is a photo I took at Petsmart of a display for a blind box toy and treats for your pet. This is gambling *for your pets*.

Somehow, there was also a Lush hiding in there which seemed crazy because that place is an upscale expensive fancy soap store. Who was going to the dead mall just for soap???
This awesome craft place was there, too, and it made me dream of a whole mall filled with stores and creative spaces like this.
I went to a huge Pokémon card show yesterday AND got a bunch of official Chinese Pokémon merch in the mail. I've been putting new binders together all night!
He hasn't flopped over across me and been a bedslug since the fosters have been here (his siblings) but he has been staying in here next to me every night instead of going into the living room to play. I feel kind of bad because he's clearly not happy right now.
