Woke up this morning to another oppressively hot day and did a thing. Now camped on Silver Strand Beach near Coronado watching the sunset over the Pacific.
Done some amazing backcountry skiing off the parkway. Bow Summit looking back south

Here were our dogs overlooking the Rio Grande and Mexico in Big Bend. This was during the height of the “Take Back our Border” trucker convoy hysteria in Feb 2024. The invading hordes were terrifying. 🙄
Drone show last night over Angel Fire. Much better than fireworks. One of our dogs gets totally freaked out by fireworks but she sat and watched the drones mesmerized.

On the list of things I said I would never do again was build out a camper van. But alas just finished this build in a little over 3 weeks. Fully off grid capable with 12v air conditioner and 400w rooftop solar. Not perfect but better than our first. #vanlife

A guy that’s kind of a big deal in the gravel community recently did our local Bike packing loop. Didn’t like it because it wasn’t pretty. My dude, if you don’t find beauty in the desert you are not looking.
