Journal of Ecology holds a special place for me. It's where I published my very first paper and I still remember that process well. The reviews were rigorous but genuinely supportive, and my paper came out substantially stronger for it. @journalofecology.bsky.social @britishecologicalsociety.org

Another reason why it is a challenge to work with alpine plants🤓 They are too small to fill the spectroradiometer measurement area🤭 So I have been doing a lot of patchwork🌱
Starting a new project on measuring leaf reflectance on samples from 100 species along the Calanda elevational gradient🗻🌱 It is always so refreshing to enter in unknown realms especially if you receive a lot of help🫶🏽 (Thanks to Tiziana Koch and Maria Santos at UZH)
