Had a great time at SDCC. Last night Zoltar told my fortune at a pinball arcade and NGL he's a little lecture-y. Like, I get it. It's not the machine's fault I couldn't crack the top ten. Or gravity. I need to do the work to get better at pinball. It's me.

Strange New Worlds s4e1 drops Thursday! “Valles Marineris” was written by Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers, with a story by Henry and Alan McElroy, and was directed by the great Chris Fisher. They made a pulpy space adventure that unfolds into a tense moral quandary. I can’t say any more!
Film is beautiful, the Odyssey is great, see it on film! That’s the movie on the platter at The Alex. They put a window behind their 70mm projector where everyone can see it in its glory. Matt Damon’s physique & performance are best experienced large format. I loved this movie. And his ripped chest.

When Oatmeal was with us (she died July 5 last year) we'd wrap her in armor to get her through the most traumatic day for dogs across our nation aka July 4. But she'd be wagging her tail like a true survivor moments after the blitzkrieg ended.

Rode the D for the first time this morning to get to the Hollywood Climate Summit. From Mt Washington to Beverly Hills via bike and one train transfer in less than an hour. Manifesting this kind of car free future for our whole city.

Found this picture of the wonderful David Kendall from the '23 strike. Even in this group shot his brilliance, humor, and kindness are evident. He treated everyone well, at a time when that was not the norm, & showed how you can do that and still make great TV and movies. I can't believe he's gone.
