One of my small joys in life is taking photos of non-plants using my plant ID app. This allows you to discover what kind of plant they are. My dog Molly is a distressed summer squash today.
Our turn in the North Bay for bad air quality. There's a fire out on the coast (small, not threatening to life or property) that is sending smoke this way. Memories coming back from our 2017-2021 fire hellscape.
Fun White Sox story: Mike Vasil, injured pitcher, wanted to find a way to support tge team. He decided he would cast spells on the opposing team. Another pitcher on the team - Jordan Leisure - bought him a wand, and Vasil now casts spells on the other team at crucial moments.
