Just finished @claymcleod.bsky.social 's "Soft Flotsam Tender Jetsam". Regardless of length, Clay always pulls me in and steals some tears, and the artwork by Chris Panatier is a perfect pairing with this story. I'm so glad I was able to get a copy of this from @rapturepublishing.bsky.social
I may not have a job, but the tree I thought was dead last year came back to life and it turns out is an apple tree (we were told there was one, just not where when we bought the house), and in my front yard I apparently have a pear tree! Fuckin dope 💪
Finally saw JITTERS last night with my wife. This movie was creepy as hell and a great time. PLUS suppppper cool seeing my name in the credits as an associate producer. Well worth the wait 😁
Guys, I did it... I'm getting noticed! I finally got hit with a scam email. I'm a real author now y'all! Unfortunately for them they mispelled their own name and I don't have a published book yet which they would know if they had actually been looking at my work. They almost got me 😂
It's been about a year since I got my hands on the physical copy of my first ever published story, and it's wild now seeing my monster come to life in a couple different ways! Thanks again @oddoblivion.bsky.social they're perfect! 😊
So, as many of you know I have a newborn. My wife and I take shifts getting up with him. After my shift I usually like to try and get a few pages in to help me sleep... Well, that was 20 or 30 pages ago.
There's a font that helps people avoid this more and speed read. I've only found small samples so not sure how it would feel across a whole novel, but I've always thought it would be cool to try it out. You're definitely not alone. I'll do this and then skip sentences because I already read it 🤣

Censorship is a serious issue, and we need to do as much as we can to not support the big corporations, and political figures pushing this trash. It's probably impossible to avoid every company involved, but every small change you make is less money going to issues you don't support.
Just watched this movie tonight. From the trailer I saw, I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as violent as it was. This is a weird horror film, meets buddy stoner comedy. 10/10 I would recommend haha. I can't believe I've never heard of this before!
To put this in perspective, if we didnt do this, and instead gave every American an equal piece of that JUST THIS YEAR, EVERYONE would have over a million dollars. All that money wasted on hate meanwhile we all could be rich overnight.

This was a few days earlier, but if you look close not only is there a double rainbow in some pics, but also the closest Ive ever been to the end of the rainbow. Not as vibrant as T. Kingfisher's (who is a great author btw if you didnt know), but every rainbow is important. Happy pride month y'all.
