I got a PHYSICAL copy of Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls for PlayStation 5. I’m definitely playing this one tonight. I still need to try out Carnage and Deadpool. But, I’m thinking my team is gonna be: Blade, Carnage, Wolverine, Deadpool. Also, support buying physical copies of video games.

Saw Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the theater today. Once again, another good MCU Spider-Man movie. This one was really good. I can’t say anything else without spoilers. But, watch this one.

The broccoli muppet in Sesame Street freaked me out when I was little.

Saw Evil Dead Burn in the theater today. It is the sixth Evil Dead movie. Not bad. It does have ties to some of the other movies. If you’re a fan of the series, check it out.

Yeah? My first PS2 Memory Card was the Mad Catz one. It just never looked right to me. The official Sony ones were sold out December 2000. I did eventually end up with five official Sony ones, all in different colors (black, red, blue, green and smoke grey).

I wasn’t able to go to AEW Forbidden Door in San Jose on Sunday due to my vacation in Las Vegas. But, my nephews’ cousin did and got me some shirts. He got the Forbidden Door event shirt that says “I Was There” on the back and the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament 2026 finals shirt.

He just wants to give everyone two scoops of Kellogg’s Raisin Bran.

EVO Day 2. Nothing much other than trying out the latest build of Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls before its launch in August.

The best part of EVO today though: I won a raffle at Hori’s booth!!!! I managed to win their new leverless controller that they unveiled today, the Nolva-R.

I’ll be in Las Vegas for the next couple of days for EVO Las Vegas 2026. I’m not competing. I want to sit back, relax and enjoy the moments, and the city of course. Yes, I’m highly aware of the whole Saudi owning EVO thing. I support the Fighting Game Community (FGC), not them. There will be pics.

Checked out Backrooms at the movie theater today. I thought it was an alright movie. I do like the idea of backrooms itself. And the sets for the actual backrooms were very creative and insane. I’m never gonna try to explore empty or abandoned buildings.

Look at what they just added on ShopAEW today. I think they got these two perfectly. Just missing Hologram and Tomohiro Ishii.

I was able to listen to (not watch cause I’m at work) this morning’s Nintendo Direct. Man, that was a Nintendo Direct. I mean Ocarina of Time remake, Kingdom Hearts IV and so much more. I know KH IV and that FF game will be on PS5. But, I DON’T HAVE A SWITCH 2 YET! 😭

Saw Obsession in the movie theater today. This one was really good. The acting was great. Might see Backrooms next time.

Man, both PlayStation State of Play and Summer Games Fest were just awesome. Very excited for Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Tifa is gonna be in Street Fighter 6. Resident Evil Veronica. God of War Laufey. Wolverine. Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls. So much more. The next months are gonna be amazing!

I got a pic with Austin Creed/Xavier Woods back in 2017 in Las Vegas. And years ago when I was working at Target, Kofi and Hornswoggle came in and I was helping them out. They were looking for sweatshirts. Hornswoggle did all the talking while Kofi was quiet. Unfortunately, no sweatshirts.

Picked up Saros for PS5 today. Developed by Housemarque, the same studio that created Returnal, which was my Game of the Year for 2021. Similar game, a roguelike third person action game. Fast paced, challenging. Just the way I like it.

The Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls news was exciting and much needed. Comes out August 6. Season pass has 4 characters and 1 stage. X-Men members Magik, Danger and…Wolverine joins the roster. I’ve tried the betas at EVO and home. Definitely looking forward to this one.

I really enjoyed today’s PlayStation State of Play. I wasn’t expecting anything, but I left satisfied. God of War, Castlevania, Metal Gear, Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls and a whole lot more. Some of these games are out…today? 😱 Some of nearing release. Definitely looking forward to what’s coming out.
