After 3 months and 3 days in the hospital, we are finally home on the farm. May she continue to heal and get stronger!!
Lizzy’s therapy team, the braided babes of Cardinal Hill! Thankful to be heading home to continue her recovery! Tomorrow will mark 3 months and 3 days in a hospital setting, farmward bound!!!
So far it’s just his leg. But it’s a serious break. So tired of being thankful for things not being worse than they are or could have been. This family has been through enough.
The car went down a 30’ embankment backward, the two in the back seat received the brunt of the force bouncing off trees on the way down. She has suffered multiple facial fractures, clavicle, thumb, base of skull. The seatbelt and impact severed her stomach from her intestine & damaged her pancreas
Of course it’s salad season!! I saw female cucumber and tomato blossoms in the garden!
Favorite part of spring! A sink full of asparagus. Plant it once and feed yourself for years!!

Haha, two weeks is long!? I’ve got some projects I work on for a year! I just stare at them in the corner longing for motivation to assemble all the finished pieces! They glare back: finish me!!

Planted some yesterday, got down to 25, babies were covered & did fine overnight. Brassicas and lettuce can tolerate those temps.

#GardeningFeed New raised beds, converted from our hay bale garden. Greenhouse starts, a baby zucchini under the dome! Off to a good start this year. Garlic & strawberries have been planted, blackberries up-potted. Brassicas, peas, lettuce, onions& a few jalapenos are standing nice and tall.
