Former FOH Manager at The Quarry Theatre Bedford, now working for an Adult Education Charity. Team Manager for Bedford Junior Blues Under 11s, 36 years season ticket holder. Supporting Bedford and Scotland Rugby, so obviously a glutton for punishment!
Back at my old desk at the Quarry Theatre today for Bedfringe. Felt like I’d not been away!
If only there was some way of knowing if the ice cream I just had contained nuts
“See the match last night? Aren’t Argentina a bunch of cry baby fucking shithouses?” “I can’t possibly comment, your majesty “
Pre-season already… Beep Test shuttle runs to start the session. Apparently they all passed the minimum standard to be in the police!
Last time we played Fiji at Murrayfield it was 57-17 at Hamish’s first international game. Not there today but would be happy with a similar score this afternoon! #asone #backingblue #scotland
Eight years ago Hamish had his first lesson at RugbyTots. This year he starts as an Under 11 at Bedford Junior Blues Rugby. Time flies like an arrow…. #BluesFamily #COYB
Hamish’s school do an End of Year tea towel as a souvenir. All the kids draw themselves. It appears that he’s been sharing a class with Ming the Merciless in Year 5!
Great game, much closer than the score suggests, but Scotland just not ruthless enough when the chances came, whereas the Boks were. There’s a reason they are the best team in the world… I must admit I was a bit cynical about the Nations Championship, but almost every game has been terrific.
So it’s going to be Frog Face v this feller in Clacton on the Wold….
Happy 4th July to all my American friends, wherever in the world you may be. Have a great day!
Opponent lightly brushes against footballer, down they go like they’ve been shot by a sniper. Meanwhile in rugby this morning … 😉
What Hamish and I would look like if we were 1970s Scottish footballers!
What wee Donny’s ‘triumphal arch’ needs a a traffic cone on top!
Ok, whose bright idea was it to mow the lawn after two months of growth on the hottest day of the year? #idiot
Father’s Day kids v parents game of Touch Rugby in the park on a hot and humid day. Great fun (although I may regret it tomorrow!)
Great to see Tom Litchfield at the Prem Final. From Bedford Junior Blues to the big stage, via many games at Goldington Road. Good luck to him and all those who have worn a Blues shirt (9 of them!) Hopefully Saints bring the trophy back, so we can borrow it again for the BJB Festival in October! 😉
It’s definitely the late 80s, everyone had their jacket sleeves rolled up. You’d never catch me doing that…. #totp
Horrible news from Johnson’s Crocodile Farm in Huntingdon. We were there just a few weeks ago ago, it’s a great place for the kids. Hope the young lad fully recovers.
