I’m still looking for series 1c Nissan Patrol’s down here (see photo) as I own a series 1b. There were 4w65’s and 66’s imported to many SA countries. 4w60 aka series 1 patrols were imported to Brasil. There are g60(series 2) patrols for sale here.

This week at FCM, I had the honour of meeting two federal leaders on the same day as part of Elbowsupforclimate.ca The first was NDP leader @avilewis.ca who listened to our small group of electeds talk climate action. The second was Green Leader Elizabeth May - so much fun! Great conversations!
I don’t blame you at all for your comments… this rig got sleepy right in the middle of our highway 5 roundabout.
Elizabeth May spoke at FCM today and got a standing ovation. No other federal elected leader got that. I wondered why… The people I spoke to there had seen her speak before. They all greatly appreciated that she spoke without notes, but with heart and humour.
PS we would be more than happy to meet with Mark Carney, Pierre Pollievre, and/or Yves-François Blanchet… Our message is non partisan and represents the views of 7 in 10 Canadians that they want their elected officials to care about climate action.

I managed Murtle Lake for about 15 years. The road is an absolute goat trail. Many creeks run along the sides of the road during freshet. There are a few spots with several hundred foot shear drops as well. With global warming, access has been earlier many years and there may be people there.
Rain dance worked. Considering it was over 35 degrees here yesterday, I’ll take it. May showers vs May heatwave.
Spending the last couple days with elected officials across my region. This last term really feels like we’re all pushing a boulder up the hill. In a few small cases, it’s a boulder of our own creation. Many cases it’s a boulder of stuff beyond our purvey, but essential to push. Healthcare eg.

They’re talking about home affordability for young people in cities on the Mike Smyth Show. It sucks. But, if you work gig work or remotely, things are much better in rural BC. For context, Barriere is 45 minutes max north of Kamloops/airport to anywhere. Clearwater is 1:20.
