My feelings on Destiny 2 ending. Couldn't fit all the alt text. Last bits are: And now I have to figure out how to live with that. I don't want to. It's like I saw someone say recently. "Destiny 2 is dead, and everything is worse now."

I think the reason why Destiny 2 hooked me, is because the story treats my character with respect and meaning. Or at least, it did when I started playing it. That kind of fell off after The Final Shape. I felt less like a force to be reckoned with or respected, and more like an annoying rookie with too big of a gun. That was also about the time I really started to struggle with wanting to play the game itself anymore, and just watch lore videos, or write more stuff in my OC's backstory.

But Destiny 2 made me feel like my OC mattered. Like their existence was IMPORTANT, like them being on any field of battle was VITAL to the Vanguard's success.

Warframe never gave me that. Never made me believe that. In point of fact, Warframe went out of its way after a while to make sure you knew fucking expendable your Warframe is, how unimportant it is, and that they have no actual personality or will of their own. The Operator is a dumb fucking addition to the lore to my brain, and it completely destroyed any hope of making an OC for each Warframe. If I wanted child soldiers the video game, I'd play Metal Gear Rising Revengance.
But now that Destiny 2 is being put into "Maintenance Mode" for the foreseeable future, I have to figure out how to come to terms with the fact that Warframe somehow "won" the MMO lottery, and gets to have a fucking future instead of the game I came to love and care about.

Warframe is fun when it hits the right notes for me.
I just don't know how to make that fun extend to the whole game right now.
My heart hurts for a game I put time, money, and effort into for over a decade.
I don't want another game.
I want Destiny to live.
I want it to thrive, and be able to tell all the stories they left untold.
I never thought it would ever end.
But CAPITALISM strikes again.
And now I have a Destiny 2 shaped hole in my life.
There's this void now. Where that game was.

My bong broke this morning.🙃😭😭😭 It fell, broke the top part of the stem off and cold fused the rest of it into the bong.😭 I can't afford to replace it, because when I bought it, it was 70$, and I've had it for several years, so now this bong would probably be more like 120$.🙃😭
