These unique Art Deco-inspired wooden earrings feature metaphase, a phase in cell division (mitosis) where duplicated chromosomes are lined up in the middle of the cell (anaphase also on our shop!) Available in either gold plated or gunmetal plated ear wires. #sciart #biologist #metaphase
These earrings combine the geometric style of Art Deco with cell division. Anaphase, the stage of mitosis when duplicated chromosomes separate and are pulled toward opposite ends of the cell, is recreated within the straight-lined geometry of these earrings. #sciart #anaphase #biologist

Mercury dime anklets - restocked! These dimes, minted from 1916 to 1945, were designed to feature young Liberty. However, people mistakenly thought the head was that of the Roman god Mercury because of the winged cap. Since then, the coin is now called either a Winged Liberty Head or Mercury dime.

Post #SICB2026 Update: The 2 organizations that each got $150 were: In Portland, New Avenues (which includes SMYRC, the Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Center (newavenues.org/smyrc ). Other was Advancement of Science (www.aaas.org), since now more than ever science is at risk in America. Thank you!
