Yeah, that bubble looking piece is probably the weirdest anomaly I’ve found so far…. It could possibly even be one of those enhydro crystals cause some of the pieces I found in that coloration look like this

Well, this has one more stage to go through the polish and I’m not gonna lie at first. I was kind of bummed that that one little piece broke out, but it actually fits in and out perfectly like a puzzle piece. I’m kind of hoping it stays that way. The crows also really seem to be interested in that.

Well the crows showed me this piece today actually it was yesterday but I only just cleaned it today with a toothbrush and some soap and wow I mean I’ve seen that black-and-white fractures before, but I just really like the way that one presents and almost reminds me of snake scales

I think the deer found the crabapple that doesn’t look like insect damage.. on the 1 hand, I can’t even be mad I bought this crab apple tree specifically as a bait crop for the deer although at this point, I’m not sure they’re gonna leave it alone long enough for it to get big enough to sustain them

Aww my spirit crow showed up for an evening dip in the birdbath & preening in the maple tree in front of my house. Pretty sure this is the matriarch, the oldest and wisest female, cause she’s the one that lands above my head with zero fucks given. She’s fearless of me & the dog.

that red Haven has already bounced back looking lush. Even though it doesn’t have fruit, it still smells like peaches which is divine this contender had peaches on it, but honestly, I pluck them off for the new growth

Well, I honestly wasn’t gonna plant the contender peach tree until the fall, but it grew so vigorously in the container It started to outgrow the container…. So now I have two peach trees in the ground…

These Chicago Hardy figs are really overachieving.. definitely glad I didn’t put these in the ground because I know how big they can potentially get… I hope the person that bought my last house is trimming the brown turkey figs otherwise they gonna have some problems down the line.
