Blunder Over Louisville
@blunderoverlouvul
Kentuckian by way of Maryland. Blue guy in a red state. Talk a lot about local politics and issues, including education.
Please wish JJ and Cooper a happy birthday. 8 and 9 years old.
I don't know why anyone doubts Mitch McConnell is alive. Picture's totally legit.
Scott Jennings is a guy who knows his only power comes from the people he glues his lips to the ass of. If they disappear, he becomes irrelevant. If Scott Jennings says Mitch McConnell's alive, I suspect the hole is already dug, the casket picked out, and the hearse is on standby.
Last night I heard faint meows and was worried one of our cats got locked in a closet. Started looking around and found this guy peering through the window, sad that he couldn’t join our cats. Thankfully he’s a neighbor’s cat and not a stray. Doesn’t he look sad, though?
I love that my cats seem to have rich lives separate from my involvement, and that every so often they’ll honor me with their presence, hop on my lap, roll over for a belly rub, or yell at me because they’re hungry and I’m not moving fast enough.
I’ve given up understanding how and why my cats bond or fight. I just know they bring me happiness, even on the worst days.
Honestly, I’m tired of waiting for one to show up. Should I just leave? I already put the soap on, seems like I could do it myself.
@tessaduvall.bsky.social @austin-horn.bsky.social Have you seen this?
Ummmm…. Isn’t it a problem you even have to say this?
Daniel Grossberg seems to imply an endorsement by Corrie Shull and his church here. But one of those photos makes me think the church was wise to who he is.
Here’s my daughter with Jacqueline Coleman because we need more women leaders everywhere.
Remember Nick Sandmann? He's the Covington Catholic child who pretended to be a sweet innocent boy and not a racist. Guess things have changed.
My favorite episode of the West Wing is the one where President Bartlett serves cold hamburgers to the Olympic team in a random conference room. Pretty sure Toby yells in that one.
Starting out great on the KY Legislature Committee Webpage.
Tomorrow LFPL begins its Cafe Louie meetings at Fairdale and Middletown libraries, which gives you a chance to meet/confront/question state and local lawmakers. Highly recommend it. www.lfplfoundation.org/cafe-louie/
Kentucky Senate Candidate Nate Morris and Trump BFF is posting his love for Brett Ratner, the film director accused by multiple people of sexual harassment. Very on brand.
I think I understand Pepsi’s financial woes. They changed the formula.
Gee, gotta wonder what prompted this from Representative Incel.
Here's the racial makeup of the school. It's not shocking.
I’m trying to understand how someone posts this and fails to see the problem.
The fun part is this: He’s from the Federalist Society. These guys claimed to love the constitution, but primarily because they knew it was fragile and easily broken to do what they wanted to do.
Jason dodged my question on this, which was, when is it far enough. He said borders and government spending are what Kentucky voted for.
