Good point. Like Substack, it adds a layer of complexity for ALL users, a split between Following (microblog) and Subscribing (blog/newsletter). Or flip it, rather than Bluesky adding blogs, platforms like Leaflet, Offprint, Pckt, or WordPress integrate Bluesky posts for users of those platforms?

Some Arkharovite is spraying cardboard from a firefight right within the perimeter of a facility, over expensive units and pumps. It's like shooting down drones flying toward the Kremlin. Then they'll write about the debris causing massive fires. Guys, why aren't you meeting these little planes 30-40 km away? And then, in the second line of defense, aren't you finishing off those that slipped 10 km from the facility? Don't you have a single radar? Or are you unable to communicate with each other? There's no urban development around. They couldn't even determine the azimuth of the flying rattles? What kind of NATO are we fighting there? It's the crests who are hitting us with cardboard made of shit and sticks. After all this, it's scary to imagine what will happen when Taurus fighters and all sorts of missiles from good, expensive fighters start flying out from there...

Für viele Behörden ist #X heute weniger ein Kanal öffentlicher Information als ein schlechtes Geschäft mit hohem politischem Preis. Das Verteidigungsministerium hat dies schon gemerkt. Andere Behörden fördern weiter eine Demokratie und Gemeinwohl gefährdende Platform.
