Very rare to see an ancient Wych Elm in the UK because of Dutch Elm disease. I’m lucky enough to have a whole line of them in the lane hedge near home, including one old warrior that survived the spread of the disease. I hope it continues to thrive and spread its saplings like marching Ents…..
