#OverallThoughts: The #Aveline DLC is a short & sweet epilogue not only for Black Flag but also AC3 & Liberation. Aveline handles better than both Edward & Adé, but it is essentially a rescue/escort mission that gets a tad frustrating because of the craziness of the character's AI. Aveline 8/10
#OverallThoughts: The first DLC to Black Flag - #AssassinsCreedFreedomCry - is a solid add-on that sees Adéwalé liberating Slaves/Maroons of Saint-Domingue. The clunky controls carry over, & putting a set number on slaves liberated for upgrades hurts the impact. Assassin's Creed Freedom 8/10
#OverallThoughts: After revisiting the OG, #AssassinsCreedIVBlackFlag still holds up as one of the best in the franchise. The graphics are dated after thirteen years, but the game's biggest drawback remains the clunky controls with the parkour & ship battles. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag 9/10
#OverallThoughts: Swiss Cheese writing that cause an insanely rushed pace, questionable camera work & use of weak CGI instead of suits & miniatures hurt an otherwise fun callback to the old Ultra shows. #ShinUltraman 6/10
#OverallThoughts: Though vibrant & featuring a few moments of brilliance, the latest #MastersoftheUniverse is bogged down by lackluster VFX, pacing issues & cringe worthy dialogue & humor. Masters of the Universe 5/10
#OverallThoughts: 2025's #RedSonja is a disservice to the character as it's an incredibly sloppy film thanks to audio issues, clunky writing, acting, VFX, cinematography and pacing. Red Sonja 4/10
#OverallThoughts: Much like the first, #AbsoluteFlashVol2 hits every beat that it needs to & feature some great artwork. However, much like the first, the pacing is still both a blessing & a curse as a lot feels left out. Absolute Flash Vol. 2 7/10
#OverallThoughts: Though this volume of Lemire's re-imagining of The Scarlet Speedster feels like a lot is cut out as a result of its pacing (many won't like it), there's still enough to make this an enjoyable beginning. #AbsoluteFlashVolume1 7/10
#OverallThoughts: Project Hail Mary is a very well made film with a terrific performance from Gosling. Though there are brief moments of shaky cam & wonky VFX, the editing - though it does help w/the pacing - isn't my favourite. With that said, it's still a fantastic film. #ProjectHailMary 8.5/10
#OverallThoughts: 9 Years of Shadows is a metriodvania that contains a strong story, pixel art style & music, but sees issues with unbalanced boss battles, a poorly designed healing mechanic & locking its fast travel behind a "pay wall". #9YearsOfShadows 7/10
#OverallThoughts: Old Moon's #GhostSong is a slow paced metriodvania with a tedious amount of backtracking & an abrupt vague ending that leaves you with more questions than answers. The game isn't bad, it's more "that was fine" than anything. 6/10
