My coping mechanism over the things I can’t control this year is to get tattoos and last month I realized I could blast over these stars I’ve hated since the day I got them.

It turns out this washing machine incident was great because, emboldened by repairing a washing machine, Rhasan felt confident to install a door to my studio closet, replacing the death trap of a bookcase on wheels my mother had there.

I bought a vegetable chopper and it has 100% changed my life for the better because it's so easy to dice a vegetable for salads and dinners even when I'm exhausted and depressed.

For art history this week we had to do sketches in the style of 4 pre-set artists. It was way more fun than I expected, and also demonstrable proof that practicing drawing does make it easier. I am so much better than I was a year ago.
