Current read. I’m not a big fantasy reader, but this one sounded appealing and it’s terrific so far. Great immersive world-building and the dragony stuff is top-notch!

This book is so terrific! A great #youngteenlit that is funny, has realistic 14yo dialogue (for the most part- there is less swearing than they actually do), and chronicles a night-before-graduation sneak-out that is age-appropriate, creative, and fun as hell.
This is the most exciting thing happening in my life right now and I’m okay with that. 😍
I have been waaaaaaaiting for this!!!!! Finally get my hands on it… but I have to read a Book Club book first, and finish the book I’m already reading. Or DO I? 👀 😏
Foreign editions are so cool! I love the paper obi on the Chinese and Japanese editions.

Current read. A fun, puzzley, scavenger-hunt about sound, noise and music. Unique topic and a fast read- perfect for upper elementary. My adult sound-consultant son would have loved this in third grade!
I am newly obsessed with houseplants and bought this monstera Thai constellation first, before I knew anything about plants. She’s just in regular soil, in a weird spot, but oh look how happy she is with this monster new leaf! Go figure 😅 #plants #houseplants
