The romance ones are great! My issue is this card. I've been wanting new K+T art for a long time because Breya, Saskia, Yidris, and Atraxa have all gotten new art or new versions of themselves over the years. We finally get one for K+T, but its a Stardew Valley reskin. Hate it.
Since the Dwarves are going to be Red and White in equal measure there is *for* sure going to be something that'll speak to Magda. Me though, Im kneeling for the King and his glorious beard.
Revealed by GameSpot as part of some article. All and all, kind of an interesting build around? Life loss plus mill with card advantage on death.
Im rooting for Jund Cosmogoyf, that deck is sick as hell. Put down the Goyf, count to 20+ into exile, T H U D. Perfection.
As much as SL's are hit or miss, is there a Lair that was dropped that for whatever reason you are sad you missed on getting? For me it is the Bad to the Bones lair. The cards are mid but the art and flavor are *so* good. I would love a plane of skeletons on motor vehicles being absolute menaces!
Representing probably the last big collection of cards from this set, not as many shines but definitely some heaters!
Which is totally fair. A lot of people have the same feeling on it so. I will say that the variant art of him is sick though. Man's beard is on point.
We are going to make such beautiful problems together.
Friend of mine wanted to see the first gathering of shines from the MSH set so. Here it is!
Spellslinger with pump spells is what I was thinking. Cause with the way the ability is worded, at 1 power most creatures wont be able to block it as is. Then you hit him with pump spells, get way more treasures as a result, profit.
A lot of people have personal favorites when it comes to their comic book cover arts (Like Venom which is very popular) but to me this brings me back to the time when I first read this issue of Marvel comics. As much as I mentioned Thor was my journey into the fantastical side of things,
My first and probably only big purchase of MSH has arrived and you know, its got me feeling very nostalgic. I know a lot of people have personal favorites when it comes to these cover alts (Venom particularly) but for me it all started here. (Thread)
Normally going for a gamble with card packs is something I avoid, but in lieu of getting a box I figured 1-2 packs could be fun. And hey, I got (nearly) everyone's favorite Canadian on Canada day so. Not too bad.
Things suck atm so to help things on a different tact, I finally remember two comics I read ages ago that I enjoyed. I've been meaning to own physical copies of them for awhile but, in that same span of time, I went and read new things so I forgot their titles. Till now, which is nice.
Felt, which is particularly why I like this design for M'Baku. Its a similar ish design to Starscream where you want someone else to be monarch for a benefit. Keeping it moving around.
I know there is a lot of discourse with UB atm. The only thing *I* will say about it is the FF movies from 05 and its sequel were the first steps (hah) in a journey for me in reading comics. Sure they weren't great movies, but being able to hold a piece of that now feels good. Feels fantastic. 😏
Mhmm. WoTC R&D have been pretty vocal that when they do these UB, they take the source material first then work from there. Though there are a couple of cases where they go with alternative representation like with The Ten Rings being the movie version rather than the comics
Seeing this genuinely made me laugh because I unironically love these cards.
Brew better. Give the angry guy a mask and turn him into a kill spell.
My only complaint is there is no Thor #1 love in the treatments. This would have been so good for at least one of the Thors!
Fateshifter* Even though she is set up as a miracle deck, she does have pretty decent utility for flicker as well as board manipulation
