Flicking through a recently purchased 1946 promotional booklet on how to grow apples, there are many ads at back for pesticides. However, I'm not sure "ARSEFRUIT" would get past the consultation stage these days.
When I was at school, maybe 12, one of the other boys turned up with this particular #Tamiya Ranger. I've had to watch the Sand Scorcher and others released while we waited 40 odd years for this one. At last, I have fulfilled the dream.
After £2500 plus bill for a gearbox, clutch and dual mass flywheel wheel. A new battery and new wipers, my Z4 is finally driving like it should and my word, it's fabulous. Today I sorted the leather seats and cleaned, polished the exterior. Looks fab, drives great and ready for a european road trip.
The journey so far, the best figures yet, car must have run in properly at 120k miles. I'd just filled up with very, very expensive diesel but the range had read 125 miles left on arrival.
Did a start up and running to temperature on the 48 Riley today. Once petrol was in the chambers it ran really strongly. Very pleased.
Bod returns briefly so gets the washed treatment that Hercule had been patiently waiting for too. Remember, a clean white car is a very good car indeed.
Had a lovely day off work yesterday to celebrate Thing 1's graduation. We are so proud of his attitude to his work, both in uni and in the wider world. His work ethic is amazing. Really thankful that so many of his family and friends could join us too.

Been out in this tonight, I've always been a coupé man but finally, I get the convertible thing. Roof down, music on, empty roads, heated seats, it's genuinely liberating.
