There was a baseball game this week near Disneyland, and for the first time in forever, a game ended on a pitch. Riley was the pitcher in the game, he threw a fast ball high, and inside. The ball wasn’t hit, the catcher couldn’t catch it, it didn’t touch the ground. Right after the ball was thrown, the game ended.

It was a tie game, in the 9th inning, bases drunk with three runners, the batter, Jo, got hit with the baseball. A HBP as they call it, a Hit By Pitch. In baseball, if you get hit by the ball you get to go to first base. If the bases are “loaded” then every one also gets to move up one base. The runner on third stepped on the plate, but everyone was already walking off the field. That was the very first HBP Walk Off.

What clouds my view of those old Caravaggio church paintings, is the deal with Fillide Melandroni and Mike.

Supposably there are those amongst us now that will hound into an Alt text window, and verify the words are listed in a way resembling human language, and if they are there they will teach you so many wonderful things. Except for what you really need, a love like Fillide's.
