Look, they even have parasols for geeks like us. I can’t recommend it enough as a necessary item in the summer in Japan, even for men. It cuts the sweat by half when I’m walking somewhere. It’s like sitting under the shade of a tree, but you get to bring it with you.
My 3DS battery is acting up on me. :/ Sometimes the power button will just instantly turn off the 3DS rather than prompt the shut down. Each time, it resets the internal clock. Likely only really noticing it now that I’m playing New Leaf and the days are flying around.
Family Mart’s jalapeño chicken breast egg sandwich has some heat!🔥 This might be the best conbini sandwich I’ve ver tasted.
Summer announcing itself by 10am today. It was a cooler rain season this year, and I feel a little more confident I’ll survive the summer because I’m not already heat exhausted by now. Preparing to eat my words in a week though.
We need to chase these people out of the industry. Stay on the Cayman Islands you tax-dodging fucks.

Went out for a walk in the afternoon with my youngest while my oldest was napping away.

Very much the same. Moreover, punching in 〇〇駅 and tapping directions for my train route out of habit, only to notice half way that it selected a “sponsored” location 15 minutes walk out from the station I was aiming for and I’m now on the wrong line because another station was closer to that shop…
Gnarly-ass sandstorm incoming. Air quality across Japan is going to drop significantly.
That was an uncomfortably long sway here in Tokyo. Everyone north, please take care and stay safe!
Great weekend for my kids and nature. Caught some freshwater crabs at a nearby creek yesterday and noticed the mantis eggs my oldest was keeping safe had finally hatched. Tiny baby mantises everywhere in our garden now.
