Thanks to @lorekeating.bsky.social for bringing the "tiny dumb elf" concept to creating a first draft! I love the idea of pretending a dumb elf is writing for you and that your first draft might suck because of it. *I drew my tiny dumb elf...
Listened through the debut album Take a Beat from The Doomstompers twice yesterday and it's amazing. Gritty soulful rock steady. The kinda thing that'll get you dancing and fighting the powers that be. Definitely something I'll be spinning this summer. thedoomstompers.bandcamp.com/album/take-a...
Took a hike through the Augusta, MI part of the North Country National Scenic Trail and got to meet so many friends! I spent a lot of the time listening to frogs, birds, and some strange animal I couldn't identify. I also fed a lot of mosquitoes. But it was an amazing time just experiencing nature.

In this episode of Matt's Magical Backyard...a curious bunny! This furry little baby decided to be adventurous and check out the driveways. They were too young to be judgy about the cracks and broken bits, just happy to be exploring the world. We sipped coffee and chatted about growing up.
Visited Asylum Lake in Kalamazoo this weekend and got to see a sandhill crane family!!

I'm so stoked that @spookhouse.bsky.social 's Darkvoid Deathship just showed up!! Raab is one of my favorites, and this one sounds incredible. How can you say no to sword and sorcery in space?? In Raab's hands I know this is going to be trippy, weird, and full of amazing images.
When you claim your punk roots by using tape to fix your the top of your water bottle, but the truth is you just kept forgetting to get a new bottle...

In this episode of Matt's Magical Backyard...an inquisitive groundhog! Look at this curious little friend!! They were just checking the grass, waddling around, when they found the sun and stopped. I was like, "I get this my fuzzy friend, I'd join you but I feel like you need it more than me."
