Last night, my wife and I saw Tori Amos at The Met in Philly. This was my third time seeing her, and it was a great show, with a set list that spanned her long and storied career. Also, The Met is one of the few Philly music venues I’ve not been to until last night. What a gorgeous space!

It's been a few days since I've seen The Odyssey, and I already can't wait to see it again, just for that sequence with Circe alone!

This time while in Pittsburgh, I visited The Living Dead Museum in the Monroeville Mall, where they shot Dawn of the Dead. The place is an awesome tribute to George Romero’s long relationship with the city. I highly recommend seeing it.

Glad I checked out the Warhol Museum yesterday. It’s nice to be back in Pittsburgh again for #NeMLA!

Nearly every performance in Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another is fantastic. That said, the issue of political violence hits so close to home right now that I don't know when I can watch this one again. Still, I still really enjoyed it.

Portland is a gorgeous city and certainly not “war-ravaged.” The PNW, including Portland, is one of my favorite areas in the US.

Rewatched Twin Peaks: The Return. I like how Lynch flipped everything on its head. Cooper reduced to the ineffectual Dougie. The last episode as a gut punch against a fairytale ending. So much responds to American violence and sin. Yet, Cooper and the good guys/gals still fight. That's important too
