Made some progress today with cleanup. The cones are where the open live wires are. It’s too bad we had another round of storms last evening. Between that and the holiday, it looks like Monday before it’ll get fixed. Have a good 4th of July everyone.
1)Doozy of a storm last night around midnight, when we lost power yet again. Heard a tree go down and a loud ruckus at the same time. Came out this morning to find a mess. A large part of an oak ripped our lines out of the house and broke the power pole. Luckily, work had a generator to borrow.
Absolutely beautiful. Took a trip to the Pacific NW last week and was able to bring back some salt in my shoes, with much the same scene. First time. ✌️

My first MLB game was amazing! Was surprised by some friends and family at the game and the bride procured fantastic seats behind the dugout. AND saw 3 run homer, AND the Tigers won! WIN WIN WIN.

Tornado 1/2 mile north of us earlier this week, and nary a stick in the yard. A strong thunderstorm last night and a large branch and sticks litter the yard & drive. At least the yard’s a beautiful shade of green.
