Have a scene in my current story where a pig gets hit by a fast moving car and my affection for pigs is so great that to make myself feel better about it I wrote this alternate line where the pig is unharmed and escapes into the woods.

First digital painting since putting on the brace. Tried not to use my wrist at all for this. I took five days off from drawing but frankly I think I needed more rest 😮💨
Had to tap out a few minutes into each set. I did have some fun drawing left handed before I left for the night.
Like, I learned what I needed to from this Frazetta study, but I also just love how much the rough gradient of the background contributes to the mood. I know I could find a brush that recreates that texture, but at that point I may as well start learning how to actually put paint on canvas.
