C'mon, Hazel, did you even look which direction the chain is pointing? I mean, who leaves a chest unlocked in a dark dingy castle anyway? Honestly, deserved. A fun little prompt from the suggestion box, that I could not get out of my head once I read it. Tried an "Escape The Dark Castle" style.

A comic with a series of panel rows. It is done in a black/white ink style, with gratuitous crosshatching for shading. Hazel, my hyena OC, is exploring a dark castle.

Row 1: Three panels illustrate Hazel walking by a doorway with a torch casting dramatic shadows. In the last panel, she looks back into the doorway with a curious look on her face.
Row 2: Two panels. The first showing a lone chest in a dark room lit by her torch. There is on open lock on the floor in front of it. The second panel show a close up shot of Hazel flashing an open toothed grin.
Row 3: Big panel and small panel. A large panel takes up most of the row showing Hazel reaching out as the chest suddenly opens on its own revealing it's a mimic! A large tongue shoots out toward her hand, its maw wide open to accept her with two rows of pointy teeth, a lot of saliva, and dark seemingly endless throat. The small panel shows Hazel's panicked eyes as she see what it happening.
