Bon vivant and raconteur. In reality Lamont Cranston, wealthy young man-about-town. Presentation Ham. (He/Him)
I've fallen off of a lot of these, and there are some dupes, but these are the app based ones I have. (PS, Nodes is basically the old NYT Vertex).
My neighbors have hired a new lawn service that uses its gigantic dogsled-type gas powered mowers outside my bedroom window at 7:45 AM.
Pointless minutiae: Thanks to a questionable 4K YouTube video (recently uploaded but circa 2022), we can identify a Far Side comic pinned to the bulletin board of the last scene of Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, immediately behind the famed "Marty Called / Wants Changes" note.
I still have 1,000-yard-stare from the crowd management at DLR on nights with Fantasmic and Believe within an hour of one another... the pissed-off bumblebees (yellow/black Fantasmic crowd control costumes) with their light wands, straight up screaming at the top of their lungs at people.
Always enjoy seeing the NYC live shots on 7/4 and 12/31, with unsanctioned fireworks going off all over the city. But I can only imagine what it's like inside those high-rise apartments (Video not from NYC)
God bless the poor intern having to hold the reporter's umbrella, with both hands at some times. This is like watching hurricane coverage.
The classic TV show "CHiPs" aimed to be more family friendly by avoiding the use of guns, despite it being a cop show. The casual viewer usually wouldn't really notice. At least not until the episode where they decided to knock a cop off his motorcycle via noise from a drive-by bullhorn-ing.
Update: It came up on my feed again so I clicked through. (Making them pay for a click since I had to argue for 20 minutes with their AI chatbot over a refund for a $1.45 can of tuna in a $400 grocery order). The going rate for a pallet of 2,880 packs of ramen is $1,440.
My brother in digital Christ, it was 85 degrees with a severe thunderstorm.
That escalated quickly... A short stack of Special Weather Statement, Severe Thunderstorm Warning, and Tornado Warning, all on the same storm.
Sup chat... today we're headed over to the Polynesian to catch the Electrical Water Pageant. Be sure to like and subscribe and smash that bell.
It's really friggin' astounding to have gone from delivering a gigantic landslide to being essentially forced out, two weeks shy of two years later. 4 July 2024 vs 22 June 2026
A reasonable goal. I'd like to learn it so I don't have to pause NHK videos and use my Google Translate camera. Especially during the onscreen text trainwreck during earthquakes and tsunami.
