Too "neat and funny" for my own good. Never cruel or cowardly. Hate is always foolish, and love is always wise. Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind. (He/him)
Highly recommend THE KILLINGS AT PARRISH STATION. Great writing, great performances, well shot. It has the same vibe as the first season of TRUE DETECTIVE but with a fun Australian twist. And above all, this might be the best deployment of Heather Mitchell’s talent I’ve ever seen. Phenomenal.
Turns out the most stylish thing in my wardrobe is my William Riker action jacket. 95% of people don’t even clock that it’s technically a Star Trek cosplay item.
I love going to the fanciest place in the country to watch the nerdiest show imaginable. @naddpod.bsky.social @sydneyoperahouse.bsky.social
I've been rewatching Steven Moffatt's JEKYLL, and it's still a brilliant piece of television. It's also helped me realise that possibly my favourite narrative trope is "Imagine what we could do if we stopped trying to kill each other and started trying to kill everyone else." I'm a sucker for it.
I love that in the same week, we had revivals of THE MUPPET SHOW and MOCK THE WEEK and they both understood the assignment: just keep doing the original show. Don't miss a beat. Don't fuck with the format. You've got a winner, roll with it.
My insomnia watch tonight is WHITE HOISE DOWN, a film that’s very silly and incredibly fun. And most importantly, it isn’t shy in the least about being a blatant DIE HARD ripoff. blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2...
Finally got the chance to pick up some of this year's new games. What do I play first: CLAIR OBSCUR: EXPEDITION 33, or GHOST OF YOTEI?
I would love to make some screencap comics using stills from A FEW GOOD MEN and dialogue from MY COUSIN VINNY.
🎶 But then he asks me, "Do you know where my car keys are?" I look at him in his face, and I say... "HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR BUTTHOLE?" 🎶
Why has there not been some kind of Alan Partridge/Philomena Cunk crossover? Do something useful, Britain.
I stay muted anyway when I play online games, but lately it's been useful as I run around MARVEL RIVALS levels as Daredevil singing "Catholic Trauma Ninja Fuckboi" to myself.
Yondu whistled so that Mr Terrific could make vague hand gestures. Bless them both.
I enjoyed the hell out of this one. Also, I came up with the alternate title "BARBIE DRIVER" about five minutes in and I'm very proud of it.
