Map pack 2 for Maglev Metro by @beziergames.bsky.social arrived yesterday afternoon… within a couple of hours of its arrival we were trying out the Chicago map. I loved this map, it makes the game a bit longer but also changes your strategy. Also loving the new meeples!
As someone who has voted by mail or early voted for years, this is trash. We started voting early because we kept missing voting because my kids kept unexpectedly ending up in the hospital on voting day, that’s life with medically complex kids. We continue to because we understand how viruses work

Super Meow! Ie my first deck builder. This is a great kids game, a mix of strategy and luck, no reading and simple addition. I highly recommend it for kids 4-9. My oldest is outside of that age group and has played many deck builders but still found it enjoyable to play with her sister
I played this entire board game while waiting on hold for Walgreens to find out what is going on with a med I sent in for refill over a week ago that still isn’t done. It was the first time we played the game, this hold music is a bad soundtrack. They still haven’t answered #BoardGameSky
We are the focus hard and get lots of work done while the weather is crappy so we can have an extended summer type of homeschooling family… But our whole state is currently closed, so if you need us we will be reading books and watching Bill Nye… we’ll pick up those textbooks tomorrow

Our internet was out over 12hr so for my kid’s tech time I introduced her to Gilmore Girls. Tonight as I put the box away I thought of my grandpa. He had 2 teenage granddaughters when this and 7th Heaven came out. Mr Army watched both shows as appointment TV cause it mattered to us.
